Welcome to Ekobacken & Picknick de luxe

Picknick de luxe—where “from soil to table” literally is 15 meters. The harvest of the day from Ekobacken’s urban farm is prepared on site and served with a glass of Swedish wine and sides such as cheese, grilled bread and tasty stir-fries. The menu is updated daily based on what the farmer harvested so please keep an eye out on our instagram stories where we do our best to update.

Collect your picnic-basket and sit at one of the tables on our grounds and enjoy the food—and the view of the city, it's included in the price ;)

You can also just have a coffee or a beer and chips.

In our greenhouse, which has been transformed into a dining room, 30–40 weather-protected seats are offered. So you are welcome in all types of weather.

Ekobacken in Växjö is an urban farm close to the city center where organic vegetables are grown and served on site as well at our other establishments Villa de luxe and Kafé de luxe. In addition to vegetables, knowledge and pleasure are also cultivated here!

No table reservation, but many, many places for drop-in!
