Ava Freddy (NO)
Ava Freddy is an artist and songwriter from Norway. With roots in a singer/songwriter-tradition, she presents image upon image through her performance, and has built a personal sound over the years. She writes songs in both Norwegian and English. Trust Ava Freddy to take you through a whole range of “point-of-views”, dreams and angles of experiences during her show. Regardless of the subjects and matters looked upon in her songs: it’s her ever present voice that will pull you into her world, and the music is a symbiosis of folk and pop, dynamic and strong.

Ava Freddy’s first album, “Appily Ever After” was produced by Ava Freddy herself. The record was released in February, 2017. “Appily”, the title track of the album, received international attention. The Line Of Best Fit wrote about the song; «a rich and dramatic doom-folk tale of love and woe,». The album was listed as one of the best Norwegian albums of 2017 by Bengt Inge Hvitstein for the Norwegian library Deichman’s music department.

Peter Piek (DE)
Peter Piek (* in Chemnitz/Karl-Marx-Stadt) is a German painter,
singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, author and performance artist. Famous for his unique voice, he mixes songwriting with electronic sounds. Peter lives and works in Leipzig, Germany. He already shared the stage with:
Lucy Rose, Art Brut, The Robocop Kraus, Public Service Broadcasting, Lucky Fonz III, Naked Lunch, Tex, Kat Frankie, Ian Fisher, Lasse Matthiessen, Matt Hopper, John Watts, Tim Neuhaus, Danny Malone, Bernhard Eder, Appaloosa, John Elliot and many more!

When talking about Peter Piek, there isn’t much to explain, just listen. Similar in his music, his paintings exist from within, begging to ask questions for the between or the behind of music and painting. Music plays a key role in the process of creation. In the earlier stages of work, Piek painted analogies to music elements, bass track paintings for instance or single songs.
Inside the painted rooms, the spaces, the intimacy of sounds
oscillates in the colors, it carries, is room structure and life trace. Through painting and music Piek relegates from those two coordinates of the senses to the unnameable gist of existence that is in between.
